There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 12. Enjoy your long weekend!

In celebration of Arbor Day, there is a volunteer opportunity tomorrow (Saturday, October 10) to plant trees at Kennedy Park in Napa.  Planting will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. inside the park. The City of Napa will provide all trees and planting supplies.  Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.  For more information, go to www.naparcd.org or call 707-257-9529.  Mrs. Lee will write you a positive referral if you show a certificate of proof for volunteering at least 2 hours.

Remember to show your school pride by wearing your Viking shirt or school colors on Tuesday when you return to school.

Our cross country and volleyball teams will travel Tuesday after school to Crystal. Go Vikings!

Fit Club will hold open gym Tuesday and Thursday, from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. Please wear the appropriate clothes and shoes and bring water.

This weekend is the Zombie Apocalypse at Rockville Hills Park. The World’s End Hike will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are $6 and pre-registration is required at the Fairfield Community Center. Hikes run every 10 minutes. PG hikes are available.

Interested in playing “fun” softball with your friends? Fairfield Suisun Bobby Sox is holding registration for the 2015 season NOW. Learn to play softball, meet new friends and play every game. There are no tryouts! Flyers are available in the front office.

PAL has several activities planned for the month of October. Girls Circle is back and meets each Wednesday night at 7 p.m.; GPA Boot Camp meets each Thursday at 4 p.m.; and Gore on the Floor Skate Night is planned for October 30th. PAL membership is required and is open to students ages 13-18.

Remember to follow our school rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. Have a great Green Valley day!
