    The Faith, Love and Care meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled. This month’s bake sale has also been cancelled. Both will take place in March!

    TODAY is the deadline to sign up for the Academic Olympics which will take place Friday, February 19. Don’t miss out!

    LEGACY meets TODAY after school in E201 instead of F104.

    Our Battle of the Books team competes against Oakbrook’s team tomorrow (Thursday) on their knowledge of The One and Only Ivan. Go Vikings!!!

    Interested in Rodriguez High’s AVID program? Plan to attend the information night tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the RHS Library.

    Vikings Against Tobacco will meet with our producer to preview our Public Service Announcement this Friday at 8:30 a.m. in E202.  Be there to see our first cut and provide input!

    Attention 7th and 8th grade students and interested adults: The Marine Institute is hosting a Marine Science Camp on Friday, March 25, during Spring Break.  The 90 foot ship will depart from Redwood City and head into San Francisco Bay to collect samples of plankton and other sea life for you to learn, observe, identify and even touch. The cost of this 4 hour excursion is $15.  What a deal!!  Please see Mrs. Lee, in E201 at lunch by this Friday, Feb. 12, if you are interested!

    This Friday is National No One Eats Alone Day! Have lunch with someone you do not know…make a difference and make a friend! Let’s make EVERYDAY at GVMS a “No One Eats Alone Day!”

    GVMS lanyards are available in the front office for $3 each. Supplies are limited and will not last long. New IDs can be purchased for $5. Remember you will need to wear an ID to attend the upcoming soccer games and other school activities.

    This Friday is PAL’s Sweetheart Skate Night. PAL membership is required. Information is posted on the bulletin board in the front office.
