In March 2013, Suisun Valley School applied to Target for a grant to help fund our Fine Arts Program. In August,
we found out that we won the grant! This $2000 Arts, Culture and Design in Schools Target Grant will help
purchase art supplies and fund curriculum for the 2013-2014 school year. We are very grateful to Target for
this generous gift! THANK YOU TARGET!

Hello Suisun Dragons. Book fair will be all this week. Take advantage of buying one book and getting one free! At my Principal coffee chat on Thursday I will have parents take a practice SBAC test using our new Chromebooks. This will give you a great idea of what the students will be doing next week. If you would like to practice the test at home I have included the link on our homepage on the website. We will be holding our Academic Olympics on April 16th beginning at 3:00 in the multipurpose room for our 4th-8th graders. Students if you are interested in competing please pick up an application in the front office. Come watch our brilliant minds compete for the gold! I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Have a great evening.

Hello Suisun Dragons! I would like to provide you with an update on our field. We are still trying to find a source for enough soil. We found one locally in December that passed environmentally. Unfortunately, the soil had so much clay included in it that we ended up rejecting it. The piles that are out there are from that source. We were informed that a large amount of soil amendments still would not be conducive  to growing grass. The City of Fairfield has been searching for us as well as the District. If you have any other questions or concerns please contact me at the school at 421-4338 or by email. Thank you and have a good evening.

Please keep track of lunch charges on your child’s account. If you are unsure of the balance on your child’s card please contact Cheryl Brown here in our cafeteria. Have a great evening and see you tomorrow!
