Dear Parents,

I would like to update you on the current sewer issue we are having at Suisun Valley Elementary School.  The most important aspect of this situation is the health and safety of our students and staff. We had a sewage leak.  We still have restroom facilities for our students to use.  We have narrowed it down to the fact that the pump is working but we have a plugged line from the pump to the distribution box; as far as we know. That is what we are currently working on.  As of this morning, the parking lot and playground have been cleaned and sprayed with a district approved disinfectant. A district employee inspected each classroom to ensure there wasn't any cross contamination. The County Health Department was here this morning and approved all of our response methods and will be out again this afternoon. Frank’s Septic Company is coming to pump the tank.  The hope is to clear the line and to have things back to normal by the end of the day. If that is not the case, we will update you.
