Step One:
Before you apply, we recommend gathering the following materials to attach to your application.

• Certificate Copy (Sudden Cardiac Arrest)

• Certification (Fundamentals of Coaching)

• CPR/First Aid Certification

• Credential Copy (Heat Illness Prevention)

• Other (Mandated Reporter)

• Resume

• TB Screening Result

• Test Results/Materials (Concussion in Sports)

Step Two:

• Create a profile at edjoin.org, and begin a new certificated application

• Be sure to attach your resume and any supplemental information to your application

• If you have not yet received your credential, please indicate (in the credential section of the application) that your credential is “pending” and enter the expected date of completion.

Requirements to apply for a Coaching Position
A valid California teacher credential is preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certificates are required.
