Consistent with our mission to provide innovative educational opportunities we are proud to offer myriad programs to our students to empower them to thrive in our ever-changing world.
PEP is one of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s programs-of-choice for elementary students and their families. PEP is a K-5 program that has been a part of the District for 25 years. PEP was started by parents who wanted to remain involved with their students’ classrooms and teachers beyond preschool and kindergarten. Parents volunteer in the classroom for about 3 hours a week. During their volunteer time, parents help plan and run hands on learning centers, allowing the teachers to work with small groups of children. In this way, teachers are better able to individualize instruction. Additionally, PEP offers many hands-on learning experiences with Science and Social Studies. With a strong base in science and math, along with the current move towards integrating technology, PEP is on its way to being a stepping stone for future STEM classes in middle school.
PEP is currently located at Crescent Elementary, in Suisun City. Please contact Susan Kirker at SueKi@fsusd.org or call Crescent Elementary at 707-435-2771 for further information.
