    Crystal Front
The school has 32 classrooms with approximately 64,000 square feet in building space. The original Crystal Middle School on Cordelia Street in Suisun was undersized at only 7 acres, out of date and did not provide adequate space for the growing student enrollment. Moving the school to the old Crescent site has allowed for a large facility as well as providing more space for an athletic field, multipurpose room, science labs, computer labs, survey of technology classroom, and a gymnasium. Many of the classrooms at the old Crystal Middle School were also held in aging portable buildings.

The new Crystal Middle School has a large, modern gymnasium with room for volleyball, basketball and other indoor sports. The school has a separate multipurpose room and cafeteria for eating and special events. The multipurpose room has a lighted stage for theater, music and other performances. The school also has a paved blacktop area for outdoor basketball and other sports. Having a separate gymnasium and Multipurpose room will be an added bonus for students and staff.

Crystal Gym The school has two story buildings to maximize use of the space on the property. The two story buildings also provide outstanding views of Suisun City. The facility has complete science classrooms with eye washes, chemical handing facilities and full plumbing for gas use in science experiments. The school also has a wood shop with an attended lecture room. The school classrooms have Cable TV outlets, computer data access, lots of windows for natural lighting and plenty of built in storage.

A highlight of the campus is the outdoor amphitheater where the school can have students can sit outside during lunch, use it for special performances or outdoor teaching when appropriate. Another unique feature to the school is a modern survey of technology classroom, where students can get exposure to a variety of technological fields like digital art, computers, aeronautics and sciences. Design West prepared the design plans for the school. The school is a sister of the new Green Valley Middle School in Cordelia. Re-use of plans at the two schools allowed for lower design costs and more efficient construction with less change orders.
