Welcome to Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC). AFJROTC is comprised of Aerospace Science, Leadership, and Physical Training. In AFJROTC we participate in many activities such as field trips, parades, and drill teams. We also participate in various community service projects, such as the annual coastal river cleanup. Close to the end of the school year we build rockets and launch them!
We have a full and varied weekly schedule for our students. On Mondays, students participate in drill and ceremonies training. Tuesdays are reserved for Leadership and Wellness classes. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Aerospace Science is taught. For the first-year Aerospace Science (AS-I) students, this class will cover Aviation History. For the second through fourth year (AS-II, III, and IV) students, the Science of Flight will be taught. Finally, on Friday all students participate in Physical Training (weather permitting).
