Meet your leadership team!

Meet Jeff Kubiak

  • Jeff Kubiak

I am so excited about my return to the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. What an amazing and exciting place to be. Nelda Mundy is a phenomenal school and I’m fired up to be a part of the #eduawesomeness here!

Prior to initially coming to FSUSD, I taught for ten years as an elementary classroom teacher in grades 4,5 and 6, and have five years of administrative experience. I strive to connect with students by bringing real world experiences to them, getting to know their names, engaging in lessons and play, and becoming a part of the learning process with them.

As an administrator I am focused on improving all facets of the educational community. I won’t be happy until 100% of the Mundy students feel safe, happy, welcome, and are thriving socially and academically. This is our ship to sail together, and it will take the whole crew for us to get there!

I will be very visible throughout campus and hope that we can all connect with kindness and have a positive intent. With a school of about 800 students, all of us need to be on board with this to ensure students feel the wave of positivity, fun and excitement toward learning.

I believe that reading is an everyday family activity and that all families should read to, and with each other daily. Time spent after school should be gauged toward family and fun. Kids need to explore, create, play, laugh and have fun, which is why we will be urging all families to read daily and play hard!

My wife Piper, daughter Keeley (12yrs), and son Braden (8yrs) live in Davis and love to do anything related to water; swim, kayak, canoe, SUP, surf and snorkel. We love to ride bikes, play board games, travel and watch Food Network and HGTV together.

Thank you for welcoming me to this school!
