    The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District provides an opportunity for current high school students to take classes at the Adult School, where they earn credit towards their high school diploma.  The Adult School also provides programs for adult students to earn a high school diploma, as well as preparation courses for the General Education Diploma (GED).

    Both daytime and evening classes are held throughout the school year for individuals pursuing a high school diploma. Courses meet the state and district requirements, and upon completion students are awarded a high school diploma. A formal graduation ceremony is held at the end of each school year. Graduates from the Adult School range in age 18 - 70+. Please allow up to 2 hours for registration. No Children Please.
    New students registering for the High School Diploma Program:
    Please bring a copy of your transcript* from the last high school that you attended.  This can be obtained by calling or visiting the school or school district that you attended.  Schools can mail, email or fax your transcript to us at:

    Ongoing Registration for the 2015/16 School Year
    Can’t decide between High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) Prep?  Please obtain a copy of your transcript and attend the High School Diploma registration. Once your transcript has been evaluated you can switch to the GED Prep program if needed.
    We also offer a program for adults who would like to improve their basic skills in reading, English language arts and mathematics. Classes are individualized to meet the needs of each student.
    Reading/English Language Arts
    Students increase skills in oral and written communication. They study grammar and spelling and learn to write essays. Students are able to work at their own pace. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, life skills and employability skills. Learning to read for enjoyment is promoted throughout the class. Students may read short stories, novels, magazines and newspapers. Various computer software programs are used by students to improve their technology and math skills.
    The mathematics portion of the course is designed to meet the individual needs of each student. The course includes working with whole numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), fractions, decimals, percents and using simple measurements. Students are able to work at their own pace.
