Application Process

  1. Complete the application.

  1. Applications must be dropped off in person. Application window opens January 21, 2025 and closes at 4:00pm on January 31, 2025.

  1. Students who successfully qualify in all criteria: academics, attendance and discipline will be placed in a Random Lottery Drawing. 

  1. Qualifying students not drawn for open spots will be placed on a waitlist.

  2. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Qualification Requirements

  • Recommendation from current teachers

  • 2.5 GPA with no D's or F's in 8th grade

  • Pattern of consistent attendance

  • Pattern of responsible behavior

Student Expectations

  • Conduct themselves in a mature manner and in accordance with expectations of the ECHS program and Solano Community College

  • Take responsibility for their own learning, behavior and successes/failures

  • Arrive at school every day on time to all classes, both high school and college. Attendance Matters!

  • Successfully complete all FSUSD graduation requirements

  • Achieve at a high academic level in this program, including all college level courses

  • Staying organized and on-task

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA in all high school classes and college GPA does not drop below a 2.0 or student may have to return to school of residence

Lottery Information

Board Policy Regulation 5116.1

If there are more than 100 qualified applicants for the Early College High School Class of 2029 a random unbiased lottery selection will be conducted by the Superintendent or designee for applications submitted during the application window (January 21-January 31).  Late applications will be considered after those applications submitted during the window in the order in which they are received.

Priority for enrollment at Early College High School shall be granted according to the following priorities:

  1. Students of contracted FSUSD employees working at least 30 hours per week will receive priority.

  2. Students whose siblings currently attend Early College will receive priority.

  3. All other Intradistrict Early College High School applicants.
