Step One:
Before you apply, we recommend gathering the following materials to attach to your application.

  • Copy of Credential/License

  • Copy of Transcript

  • Letter of Introduction

  • Resume

  • Letter of Recommendation (3 current letters)

  • Other (CBEST)

Step Two:

  • Create a profile at, and begin a new certificated application

  • Be sure to attach your resume and any supplemental information to your application

  • If you have not yet received your credential, please indicate (in the credential section of the application) that your credential is “pending” and enter the expected date of completion.

Requirements to Apply for Certificated Position

A valid California Multiple Subject teaching credential and an English Learner Authorization is required. Applicants who hold an out-of-state teaching credential/certificate will be considered.

  • Intern-qualified candidates will also be considered.

  • Non-credentialed applicants who are moved forward for the position and do not have a CTC educator page will be required to obtain a Certificate of Clearance (COC)
