Interdistrict Attendance Agreement

If you live within the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District boundaries and would like to transfer to a different school district, please ensure your student is enrolled at his/her resident school prior to completing an Interdistrict Attendance Agreement application. Please submit the application and the required documentation to the Student and Family Services Department by one of the following methods:

Applications must be submitted with supporting documents. Your application will not be processed until all paperwork is received.

If requesting to transfer out of FSUSD for reasons other than employment, please complete the following form and attach the appropriate supporting document:

Examples of supporting documents are listed by reason for request:

Child care: a letter or affidavit from the child care provider stating that the student is under their care that must include the address where the student will be receiving child care. 

Continuing Enrollment: a recent grade report OR unofficial transcript 

Educational Program: documentation on the Educational Program that is not currently offered with FSUSD

Housing: escrow papers or lease agreement 

Senior: a recent grade report OR unofficial transcript 

Sibling Attending:  a recent attendance/grade report OR unofficial transcript for the sibling who is already attending in the other district

Other: A letter/statement explaining the reason for the transfer

If requesting to transfer out of FSUSD due parent/guardian employment within the boundaries of a neighboring school district, please complete the following form and attach the appropriate supporting document:

Examples of supporting documents are listed by reason for request:

Residency Based on Employment: a paycheck stub which includes the local address where the parent/guardian works OR a letter on company letterhead from the parent/guardian's supervisor stating the local address and that the parent/guardian works at that location at least 10 hours per week.
