OUR MISSION

A library program fostering curiosity and wonder in all students and empowering our school community to be future ready through information literacy and love of reading.

WE SUPPORT THE DISTRICT LCAP GOALS

Goal 1: FSUSD libraries support the District’s social-emotional program by providing resources for students, staff, and families around mental health and social-emotional learning.

Goal 2: FSUSD teacher librarians offer high-quality instruction focused on State standards and College and Career Readiness, such as research, media literacy, and evaluation of materials.

Goal 4: FSUSD libraries are safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environments where students are connected to their schools and staff are connected to their work environment.

Goal 5: FSUSD libraries engage parents, families and community partners through education, communication, and collaboration to promote student success in their physical libraries and online.
