MEET THE GOVERNING BOARD
Dr. Parr was elected to the Governing Board in November 2024. Dr. Parr has over 25 years of experience in education, serving as a Teacher, Principal, Director, and currently Senior Director of Student Services and Educational Options for the Solano County Office of Education. Dr. Parr currently serves as the President of the Solano County Child Abuse Prevention Council, Board Member of the Opportunity House, Member of the Solano Family Justice Center Steering Committee, and various philanthropic organizations and collaboratives that serve the residents of Solano.
Dr. Parr has spent her career focusing on the needs of all students, particularly those students who need different supports to reach their full potential. Dr. Parr is committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality educational programs and advocates for access to a continuum of services that support each student's social-emotional, mental health, and overall wellness. In addition, Dr. Parr advocates for support for teachers and education staff to effectively serve all students while focusing on their health and wellness.
