Adjunct Faculty Member, Ms. Jennifer Carvalho, M.Ed, BCBA, at Touro University included the following in her letter of recommendation:

“One of Ms. Vera’s strengths is verbal communication skills when working with others. A large component of the class required small group and large group discussions. Lorena was able to effectively communicate her knowledge and opinions while continuing to show respect for discussions and presentations. I could always count on Ms. Vera to contribute thought provoking comments and ask questions for clarification. Her performance in the classroom and passion for working within the field of Special Education made it apparent that she would be an asset to any district or company. I highly recommend Ms. Vera due to her experience, work ethic, and passion for the fields of Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.”
