Mrs. Francine Carlson is being welcomed as the new Coordinator in Human Resources. Mrs. Carlson has been employed by Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District since 2006 beginning as a noon duty substitute, then from 2008 - 2015 worked in the District as a clerical substitute, Personnel Specialist I substitute and Personnel Specialist II substitute. In 2015, Mrs. Carlson was hired as the Administrative Assistant in Business Services and currently, the Interim Coordinator of Human Resources.
Michelle Henson, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, included this in her letter of recommendation: “The hallmark of Francine’s character is her integrity. I can honestly say I have never worked with an individual as committed to a school district. Francine’s approach and decisions are always forward thinking, focused on a long-term horizon, and ultimately based on what is best for FSUSD and the stakeholders it serves. She is thoughtful, purposeful, and unafraid to address issues that arise.”
Mrs. Carlson received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1983.
