Fairfield, CA - DART Swimmer Brandon Ha attended the USA Swimming 2023 National Select Camp from October 12-15 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. The camp featured some of the top high school swimmers from throughout the country and provided an exclusive training and educational opportunity for attendees.

 Numerous National Team athletes and Olympians previously attended the National Select Camps, including Katie Ledecky, Lilly King, Michael Andrew, and Hali Flickinger.

 Brandon Ha, who is a sophomore at Early College High School, represented Rodriguez High School at the 2023 CIF Swimming and Diving State Championships in Clovis, CA in May.  Brandon competed in the 100 fly and 200 IM, finishing 12th overall in the 100 fly in the State of California.   

 "I am extremely excited to be selected to attend the National Select Camp at the Olympic Training Center.  I look forward to the opportunity to learn and train at the camp as part of my swim journey.”-Brandon Ha.

 During the three-day camp, 52 boys and 52 girls from all over the United States experienced the day-to-day routine of a USA Swimming National Team athlete. Attendees learned about post-race recovery, training, psychological skills, and more.

 “This is a great opportunity for Brandon and Remo, especially in an Olympic year.” stated DART Solano Coach Ricky Silva.  “We are proud of these swimmers for being selected and look forward to their representation of DART as well as Solano and Yolo counties.”

 Athletes were selected for the camps based on the following criteria: The top three athletes in each event, based on Long Course Meters (LCM) competition ranking from September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023.

 DART Swimming is a nationally recognized USA Swimming club that offers programs in Solano, Sacramento and Davis.  Numerous nationally recognized swimmers have competed for the team, including Luca Urlando, who broke the American Record in the 100 yard backstroke event at NCAA championships while representing the University of Georgia in 2021.
