PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held on September 21, 2023, at or shortly after 6:00p.m. on the matter of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s (FSUSD) certification that each pupil in the District has, or will have prior to the end of that year, sufficient textbooks or instructional materials in each subject consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the State Board of Education, and the availability of laboratory science equipment as applicable to science laboratory courses offered in grades 9 to 12, as required for compliance with Education Code Sections 60119 and 60422 and California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Section 9531(c).
Copies of the Certification to Provide Sufficient Instructional Materials are available for review at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 2490 Hilborn Road, Fairfield, California, during normal business hours, or on our website at http://www.fsusd.org, or by calling (707) 399-1266.
Please submit any written comments to the FSUSD Educational Services Department, 2490 Hilborn Road, Fairfield, California, 94534, no later than September 21, 2023, prior to 4:30 pm. Immediately following the public hearing, a proposed resolution will be considered by the Governing Board, which if adopted will certify that each pupil in the District has, or will have prior to the end of that year, sufficient textbooks or instructional materials in each subject consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the State Board of Education as required for compliance with Education Code Sections 60119 and 60422 and California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Section 9531(c).
