In March, Matthew and Majesty represented Laurel Creek in the Solano County Spelling Bee. Both did great and showed that Laurel Creek is filled with students who have bright minds and a rich vocabulary.

    Classified - Jackie Burton: Ms. Burton is a paraeducator in the SCIL Program at Laurel Creek. She is the model of consistency and comes to work every day prepared to help our youngest students be successful. Certificated - Shawna Hafner: Willing to adjust in the moment for students, Ms. Hafner has a special place in her classroom for art and how it positively impacts students.

    In 2024, the California Dept. of Education recognized Laurel Creek as a Purple Star School. These schools recognize the additional challenges faced by our military families and take additional measures to support these families.
