Career Expedition Summer Camp
Join us for an epic summer camp adventure!
FSUSD, in partnership with Cal Maritime, will host the 2nd Career Expedition Summer Camp for FSUSD 7th-grade students. The summer camp will take place from June 9 - June 14, 2024. During this 5-day, overnight adventure, students will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the program while experiencing college life culture at the California State University Maritime Academy. The camp will focus on maritime careers, and students will experience basic Marine Firefighting and Personal Survivor courses.
To enter the program, the student must be in 7th grade and include with their application a one-page written essay about why they would like to attend.
