About Superintendent Jennifer Sachs

Ms. Jennifer Sachs brings to the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District an impressive 28-year career in public education. Her journey began as an instructional aide, evolving over the years to include roles such as classroom teacher, Title I Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and most recently, Chief of Educational Services at the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. In her most recent role, Ms. Sachs supported over 28,500 students and 55 schools and programs from preschool through 12th grade, including an adult school and two charter schools.

 Ms. Sachs is a proud ACSA Region 6 Officer and has shared her expertise as a presenter at both the college level and professional conferences throughout California. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from UC Davis. She acquired her Administrative Credential and Master of Science degrees in Educational Leadership at California State University East Bay.

 Upon her appointment, Jennifer Sachs expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm, stating, "I am deeply honored and humbled to join the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District team as your new Superintendent. I am committed to serving each and every student, educator, and community member with dedication, transparency, and respect. Together, we will strive for excellence, foster a culture of inclusivity, and empower our students to achieve their fullest potential. I am excited to embark on this journey, and I look forward to working collaboratively to support the success and well-being of every member of our school community."
